Security and account protection
This page describes the safeguards we use to help protect Elite Billing accounts and business records, the steps workspace owners can take, and how to report a suspected security issue.
Policy reviewed: 7 October 2026
Elite Billing maintains safeguards for the service. Each business also controls who can access its workspace and is responsible for protecting its users' credentials, devices, and the information it chooses to store.
We publish the controls we can describe clearly and encourage customers to ask us when they need more information.
Our security approachDocumented safeguards
Customer passwords are stored in encrypted form to help protect account credentials.
Multi user access includes business owner and employee roles, allowing a business to assign access according to each person's responsibilities.
Daily backups support recovery. Audit logs help with operational tracking of activity in the service.
Customer data is hosted in Bengaluru, India.
For account owners and team members
Choose a strong password that you do not use for other services, and update it if you think someone else may know it.
Give each person their own account where available, assign an appropriate role, and remove access when it is no longer needed.
Keep your browser and devices updated, sign out on shared devices, and do not share passwords or one time codes.
Service and data handling
Operational practices
We use role based access, audit logs, and daily backups as operational safeguards. No online service can prevent every risk, attack, or interruption, so we cannot promise absolute security or uninterrupted availability.
